Chamber Musician Johannes Moller:
Swedish guitarist and composer, Johannes Moller visits our hometown to charm us with his flawless, string-plucking skills at blueFROG, Mumbai. His music transports us to a world beyond; reminiscent of a romantic era of kings and court jesters. The musician seldom interacts with his audience, often performing with his eyes closed; speaking inaudible words to himself as though to cast a spell. What he gives us then, is an evening that is almost indescribable. His music has a remarkable soothing quality, which holds us to our seats, and we wonder if indeed, he has cast a spell after all.
Moller began strumming the guitar when he was all of 12. It was around the same time that he was introduced to the genre of chamber music. By the time he turned 14, he had composed some of his best pieces with renowned Swedish musicians. We got to learn a little more about the artist in a quick chat.
