The Artist.
I'm a graphic designer currently working with Toaster Ltd., Gurgaon. Exploring various forms of art and design, I've been learning and practicing graphic design, UI/UX, typography and illustration. I have artist friends I take inspiration from, as well as the internet, which is a plethora of information and creativity. And when I'm inspired enough to not procrastinate anymore, I indulge in personal projects.
Sensibility.
I had always been fascinated with history, especially to observe it through the lens of photography. I believe that good things happen when you start working for yourself. I work within briefs, because I'm from an advertising background; but prefer to work without them, therefore on my own. Vintage Indian portraits were one such thing that attracted me, trying to figure out the lifestyle of people, their expressions and stature. Creative exploration takes flight that way.
Urbintage Series.
Urbintage was mainly done as a design exercise to explore collage work. I loved the form a lot as it's a constant visualization exercise bringing pieces together to make the right composition. It's a fun project I'm hoping to extend further in time.
