Pallavi Dhyani’s journey in design has been fueled by a passion for creativity and self-expression. ‘After gaining experience in the industry and honing my skills, I felt compelled to start my own label as a means to fully manifest my vision and philosophy. It was a natural progression, driven by a desire to offer something staple and meaningful to the world of fashion,’ she says.

Her brainchild, Three is a homegrown fashion label that offers more than just clothing, it embodies everyday luxury, contemporary style, and minimal fashion, seamlessly blended with sustainable fabrics. The brand has recently launched its SS'24 collection, Coastal Reverie. She walks us through it.
 
The Evolution
Over the past decade, the sensibility of Three has definitely evolved. Initially, it was about finding my voice and establishing a signature style. The brand has grown, so has its ethos, centered around sustainability, craftsmanship, and timeless elegance. Personally, I've evolved as a creative person by embracing new techniques, exploring diverse inspirations, and constantly challenging myself to push boundaries while staying true to the brand's essence.
 
The Collection
The latest collection of Three is a celebration of warmth and serenity, characterized by rich tones, soft pastels, and captivating geometric patterns. Designed for transitional weather, the collection offers a versatile range of dresses and co-ords that invite wearers on a journey of self-expression beyond fleeting trends. Inspired by the raw beauty of Goa, each piece exudes a harmonious blend of comfort and style, reflecting the brand's commitment to timeless elegance and personal connection.

The geometric play in this collection is a deliberate design choice inspired by the elegance found in nature's patterns. This decision was informed by a desire to infuse the collection with a sense of timeless sophistication while drawing inspiration from the beauty and intricacy of the environment.
 
Creative Process
My creative process for our new collection begins with immersion in inspiration. I draw from various sources such as nature, art, and cultural influences to inform the theme and mood. Next, comes extensive research and sketching, where I translate these inspirations into initial designs, experimenting with shapes, textures, and colors. Collaborating closely with our team of artisans, we refine these concepts into tangible pieces, ensuring every detail aligns with our brand's ethos of timeless elegance and sustainability. Through a combination of craftsmanship and creativity, each garment in the collection comes to life, ready to resonate with our audience and evoke a sense of joy and self-expression.
