Margarita With a Straw (2014)

Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2019)
Set in 18th-century France, this historical drama takes you on an unexpected journey as it leads you through the romance between a young aristocrat and an artist commissioned to paint her portrait. The film is an evocative exploration of queer intimacy.

Call Me By Your Name (2017)
Slip back into the sleepy stillness of 1983 northern Italy ensuring a sultry summer with Timothee Chalamet and Armie Hammer. The film portrays a beautiful and evocative coming-of-age tale of sexual exploration between 17-year-old Elio and 24-year-old Oliver.

Joyland (2022)
Said Sadiq’s award-winning film takes you through the multicoloured world of modern-day Lahore through the lens of patriarchy and queerness. The story follows the Rana’s, a traditional Pakistani family, as their younger son Haider joins an erotic dance theatre as a background dancer to a transgender performer. 

Blue is the Warmest Colour (2013)
This French film is based on the best-selling graphic novel of the same name. The story follows Adele, a French teenager, as she falls in love with Emma, an aspiring artist who opens her up to new avenues of thinking.  
 
Fire (1996)
Deepa Mehta's incandescent film takes sisterly devotion to the next level. It's a beautiful portal of the boundless nature of love and desire and is both thought-provoking and deeply gripping. Shabana Hashmi and Nandita Das dazzle with their electric on-screen chemistry.
