House of Tuhina

Shot in the stark, sublime landscape of Ladakh, House of Tuhina’s latest campaign Meditations is a study on raw beauty: of land, material, and memory. Against a canvas of wind-sculpted mountains and open skies, each piece of jewellery becomes an extension of the earth itself. Hand-forged using traditional methods, the pieces echo the textures, colours, and rhythms of Ladakh, quiet, grounded, and enduring. A homage to slowness, to craft, and to strength held in silence. Tuhina Goyal shared a few thoughts on the collection.

The Inspiration
This collection celebrates sacred geometry, indigenous craftsmanship, and elemental textures — bringing the spirit of the high Himalayas into adornments that are timeless, tactile, and transcendent. Inspired by Monastic Minimalism, Clean lines and balanced symmetry echo the architectural simplicity of Ladakh’s monasteries. Think oxidized finishes, raw edges, and silver accents — an ode to the timeless elegance of Buddhist prayer wheels and stupas.

Influences
As a child, I was also fascinated by the mountains and would often visit them every summer vacation. Taking inspiration from the Texture of Terrain, I created hammered metals that mimic rugged cliffs. Braided wires and woven metal replicate the traditional textile patterns of the Changpa nomads.

Creative Process
Founded by Tuhina Goyal, House of Tuhina is built on the belief that handmade goods are sacred. With a background in textiles and jewellery, her work draws on India’s rich craft traditions, reinterpreted through a modern lens. The pieces are contemporary in form, yet hold the soul of age-old techniques, passed through generations and shaped by hand.

This campaign is an act of remembering. A return to community. As a Made in India story, the brand holds that jewellers are more than creators of adornment; they are keepers of culture. Created in collaboration with image maker Menty Jamir, whose practice revolves around bodies, culture, and material memory, and styled by Longchen, known for his intuitive and deeply human approach to dressing, this shoot is a coming together of aligned visions—earth, craft, and spirit made visible.
