June'25 EZ

The month of June sees tons of exciting new stories. Be it the master storyteller Jeet Thayil and his genre-bending novel The Elsewhereans, part memoir, part travelogue, part fiction, part non-fiction – the ‘documentary-fiction’ will take you on a journey of family history that at times is based on facts and at times fiction. One of the most anticipated debut film, Karan Tejpal’s extremely riveting thriller, Stolen makes its way to the screens. The film promises to keep you engaged and at the edge of your seat from the very first frame till the last. For Pride Month we celebrate important and inspiring voices from the community, highlighting the importance of owning your voice. The zine also spotlights an extremely eclectic new space, a 15-room boutique hotel in Mumbai. The Kin founded by Guneet & Imrun Singh – a brother-sister partnership transformed their grandfather’s hotel into a charming, intimate and cozy space. On the other hand, Daniel Fernandes, one of India’s exciting stand-up comedians invites viewers for laughs and more to his new show Lessons. And our cover and fashion story is a vibrant exploration of rejoicing in ones identity, voice, sensibility and being.

Happy June.
