Delhi Contemporary Art Week (DCAW) returns for its 9th edition from 31 August to 5 September 2026 at Bikaner House, New Delhi, bringing together six leading Delhi-based galleries alongside two curatorial exhibitions by Adwait Singh and Annalisa Mansukhani. Across the CCA, LTC and Main Building, the 2026 edition brings together contemporary practices from India and South Asia, opening up conversations around climate, ecology, memory, place, identity, materiality and the ways in which we inhabit and understand the world around us.
These women-led Delhi-based art galleries will showcase a compelling selection of works by established and emerging artists from India and the broader subcontinent. Each gallery brings its unique curatorial vision and artistic strengths to DCAW, celebrating the diversity and richness of contemporary artistic practices through various mediums.
The two curatorial exhibitions offer distinct enquiries into the present. At the LTC building, Adwait Singh’s Bye-Bye Monsoon considers extreme weather, shifting monsoonal patterns and the historical, material and environmental forces behind a changing climate, while at the Main Building, Annalisa Mansukhani’s This Animate Earth turns to the botanical world, exploring plants as sites of knowledge, relation and memory and tracing their connections to land, caste, empire and extraction. Alongside these, the six gallery presentations at the CCA bring together a diverse range of contemporary practices and perspectives.
The exhibiting galleries include Blueprint12, Exhibit 320, Gallery Espace, Latitude 28, Shrine Empire and Vadehra Art Gallery. Delhi Contemporary Art Week will run until 5th September, 2026, on view at Bikaner House, New Delhi.
