Mharo Khet

Mharo Khet

Mharo Khet is a celebration of plants, at the fields and at the tables — a happy space for nature, farming and food enthusiasts. Based out of Jodhpur, Mharo Khet allows guests to experience forty-acres of farmland, taking them through the journey of farm to plate. The produce includes a wide variety of crops — indigenous, native and exotic, ranging from brussels sprouts to moringa, strawberry to chamomile, oyster mushroom to fig, and many more. But above all, Mharo Khet engages with the local community and is a responsible-farming enterprise, managed and enriched by women.

With the display of immense ecological diversity at Mharo Khet, and how fresh fruits and vegetables are grown, the space aims at educating and inspiring its guests by presenting the fresh produce through innovative fine delicacies. From immersive walking tours to pre-plated, multi-course, plant-forward dining, the team has devotedly curated farm experiences that are beyond the everyday experiences that visitors will relish. Mharo Khet wishes to be perceived as a destination that celebrates nature (but specifically plants), and as a place where one can escape the urban clutter and enter an environment that’s 100% natural, as much as it’s unhurried and tranquil.

Mharo Khet

Mharo Khet creates an experience that celebrates plants, champions ‘local’ and ‘sustainable’, embraces simple yet elevated plant-forward food, and presents stays that marry the pastoral with luxury. Their aim is also to increase awareness as much as about the challenges of farming as of the benefits of eating local and fresh, and the advantages of adopting a plant-forward way of life, both for one’s own body and the environment.
