As winter looms and predates newer trends for the season, prxkhxr stick to their guns with their Autumn Winter 22-23 capsule collection, which remains gender and trend-fluid. The drop alters expectations of traditional winter outwear by calibrating itself to release functional wear that stands out with its easy silhouettes and vibrant prints. While printed outerwear seems daunting during a season when neutrals are deemed staples, prxkhxr diffuses the prints with boxy and oversized fits that are easy for the day-to-day.
The collection consists of anoraks and jackets. prxkhxr deliver minimalism with their Garage and Forester jackets, while their Houndstooth Flannel jacket features a seamless blend of a flannel pattern with a modern silhouette that could fit into any wardrobe with ease. The standout pieces from the collection have to be the anoraks in their eclectic prints — the Brawl Anorak hoodie sticks to a muted colour scheme but features a digital print of NBA players brawling on-court. The Retro and Burs Anoraks follow suit with what seems to be a Victorian era painting and an ode to Eastern cultures and colour palettes.
