Jaigarh Heritage Festival 2025 A confluence of music, art and heritage.

The car winds up a cobbled path to the fortress gates of Jaigarh and for two nights the fort will pulse with art, music and stories, both old and new. The fort becomes a living canvas, where heritage, music, architecture and contemporary creativity meet at Jaigarh Heritage Festival. The festival, produced by Teamwork Arts in collaboration with H.H. Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur returns with its second edition this weekend [6^th & 7^th December 2025].

Inside the ancient walls, mornings at Subhat Niwas promise soulful notes: evocative melodies, classical ragas, folk tunes and experimental sounds with Echoes of Rajasthan by Laksh Maheshwari, Sarod at Dawn by Vidushi Debasmita Bhattacharya and more. Evenings at Charbagh unfurl under starlit skies with energetic concerts by Papon Live and traditional folk performances by  Roysten Abel’s The Manganiyar Seduction keeping the spirit of Rajasthan alive.

But this weekend isn’t just about sound. It’s a festival of ideas; conversations on heritage, architecture, cultural sustainability and the layered history of Rajasthan. Workshops invite you to touch, craft, paint, cook, experience tradition with your hands; puppet making by Puppetshala, Urban Sketching by Urban Sketchers Jaipur, a miniature painting masterclass to name a few, making for a truly immersive experience. Heritage walks around Amer and visits to the recently opened Jaipur Sculpture Park bring forth a conversation about contemporary art and picturesque views stepped in history and tradition, bridging the present with the rich past.
 
By night’s end, the fort stops being a monument — it becomes a gathering place, a crossroads where history and now, melody and memory, meet. The Jaigarh Heritage Festival isn’t just an event. It’s an invitation  to explore art, history, culture and indulge in dialogue that transcends genres.
