Patasa

Patasa

Indo Warehouse ends the year on a high note with Patasa, a landmark collaboration uniting two of India’s most influential electronic artists, Anyasa and Lost Stories, alongside the Punjabi folk vocals of Sarthak Kalyani. This marks their first original work together, where Patasa blends unmistakable Indian elements with a global, club-ready sound. The track’s strength lies in its subtlety: distinct Indo-inspired stabs and tribal percussion are thoughtfully balanced with Kalyani’s commanding vocals, which ground the track in both tradition and emotion. For Indo Warehouse, Patasa stands as a cultural milestone. Anyasa and Lost Stories, pioneers of India’s electronic movement for over a decade, have shaped a generation’s sound and inspired both international audiences and a local wave of producers and listeners to embrace their roots. Driven by Sarthak Kalyani’s evocative Punjabi vocals, the song channels festival energy while remaining true to Indo Warehouse’s deep, rhythmic, and immersive aesthetic. This collaboration weaves together regional influences, contemporary production, and diaspora identity into a unified whole, a sound as captivating in Mumbai or Chandigarh as it is in Brooklyn or Ibiza. The result is a track that transcends borders and genres, inviting listeners to a shared space where movement, memory, and Indian identity converge on the dancefloor.

‘Anyasa and Lost Stories have been paving the foundation for South Asian electronic music for quite some time. Bringing them together for their first original record is a huge  moment for us! This record represents the roots of our movement and celebrates where it’s headed next. We’re really proud of this record,’ says Kunal Merchant of Indo Warehouse.

Founded in New York in 2022 by Kunal Merchant and Kahani, Indo Warehouse has grown from an underground concept into a full-fledged global phenomenon. Their live shows from Brooklyn Mirage to Fabric London, Coachella, and Hï Ibiza are immersive, ritual-like experiences that blur the lines between identity, tradition, and club culture, while remaining deeply grounded in their origins.
